Review:

Tony and I visited Cafe Latte’da in Fells Point today. They have maintained staying open during COVID-19 as just take out only. It was our first time in. It definitely had a great local vibe to it. I’m guessing that they were operating on a limited menu, because I tried to order cold brew and they only had iced coffee which was perfectly fine with us! One really cool thing was that their ice cubes were made of iced coffee so when the ice melts it doesn’t water down your coffee! I’ve never had that before and that was a huge win! I had the sugar free hazelnut which was really good. Tony had the sugar free vanilla and he wasn’t the biggest fan of it, but he really liked mine! They also had local art on the walls for sale and all the proceeds go to the artists. There were a ton of really cool pieces. Thank you for being open during such a crazy time in the world, Cafe Latte’da!

Happy 28th Birthday Becca!

Happy 28th Birthday Becca!

To my amazing friend Becca, I wish you the happiest birthday. I am so very thankful to have had you in my life since we were little kids. I am so sorry that 28 has to be celebrated in such a scary world, but I would like to thank you for all the amazing things you have taught me over the years!

Here are 5 things you taught me about life.

  • Do what makes you happy! Life is full of choices and it is too short to make a choice that won’t give you happiness.
  • You don’t have to have a full face of make up to leave the house every day. You are beautiful just being you!
  • Chase your dreams! No matter where in the world they take you.
  • Travel is good for the soul. There is always time to travel.
  • Don’t use the curling wand on your hair every day! Stop frying your hair, you don’t need to wash and curl every single day.
  • LIVE LIFE IN COLOR!

I have been going to Nail Candy Shop for about 8 months now and I feel like I found a pot of gold. The salon is so ascetically pleasing and even more importantly, super clean. All of the girls are so friendly and really give 110% into what they do everyday. They are appointment only, so make sure you call ahead if you are interested in making an appointment.

Crazy hours they are open from 7a-3a daily, WOW! Tony found this little gem. Super cute on the inside! Without looking it up, from the name I was expecting sticky buns, but it was different kinds of buns, from pork buns, to sweet buns, to savory, there was something for everyone. They are also BYOB if you want to go later in the evening. Tony and I were able to get street parking right across the street. We ordered a different kind of coffee for us, a Chocolate Vietnamese coffee. It wasn’t 100% my cup of tea. Tony enjoyed it! We also ordered a Gruyere & Apple Bun and it was incredible! Such good flavors! I would most definitely order it again!

Today Tony and I visited Avery Farms Coffee Roasters for the first time. This one has been on my to visit list for a long time! From the mural outside to the aesthetic inside this place definitely has the look! Super cute and trendy. Smaller menu, which can be good because sometimes too much can be overwhelming! They didn’t have any sugar free flavors, which Tony and I love, but again thats just our personal preference. The music they played inside was so fun like an 80s dance party, but a cool one!!

Review:

During this time of craziness we ventured out of the city to Severna Park, so today is our first review from outside of the city! Tony and I visited Big Bean Coffee. It is located in a little strip with plenty of parking across the street. The interior was full of very bright colors and murals on the call. The decor wasn’t 100% my vibe, but it was very fun and cutesy. The employees were very friendly and greeted us immediately as we entered. I had a cold brew with sugar free brown sugar cinnamon, yes you heard that right SUGAR FREE brown sugar cinnamon. It was INCREDIBLE. By far the best sugar free flavor I have ever had. They had such a long list of sugar free flavors! I was in my glory and it was honestly hard to decide on which flavor to try. My drink was definitely a 10/10. Tony had the nitro, and it was good, but not the best he’s had. He rated his a 6/10 which gives us a taste score of 8/10. Another cool thing about Big Bean Coffee was that they had other fun things for sale inside, like outright bars, soup mixes, and different bottled drinks. If we are ever in the area again we will totally be back for more of that amazing sugar free flavor!

Bmore Licks

Bmore Licks

Bmore Licks is open for the season! Bmore Licks is definitely a Baltimore Staple. If you have never been I highly recommend a stop! Go for the ice cream and stay for the murals and make sure you get a photo! They have over 100 soft serve flavors and tons of hard ice cream flavors.

Location:

2437 Eastern Ave Baltimore MD

Flavor Review:

  • Cookies and Cream. LITERALLY THE WORLDS GREATEST ICE CREAM FLAVOR I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF TASTING. I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, & dinner.
  • Cookie Monster: I mean how could you not like any ice cream that is blue. Cookie dough, and cookies and cream! Yes please.
  • Magically Delicious: Lucky Charms Flavored. It most definitely tasted just like milk and cereal.
