Sharing 5 of my favorite Healthy snacks for during the week!
Carrot Chips with Hummus! One of my go to snacks. I love trying new hummus flavors!
Egg whites! Tony and I hard boil 2 dozen eggs to start the week and I love to cut them open, take out the yoke, then top the white with mustard and salt!
Cucumbers with a greek ranch dip. Low calorie dips are definitely the key. If you are watching your weight try to stay away from regular dressings because they are full of fat and there are plenty of healthier options.
Low fat cheese sticks. Typically about 50 calories, and full of protein.
Deli meat. I love getting a pound of Turkey or Buffalo chicken. Great protein source.
Holiday Cookie Season is one of my favorite times of year. When Tony and I toured our Evergreene Home for the first time the first thing I said when we walked into the kitchen was WOW I can’t wait to bake Christmas Cookies on that counter.
I wanted to share with you one of my favorite cookies for the Holiday Season, that of course include sprinkles! Hope you Enjoy!
Christmas Sprinkle Cookies
10 tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2–1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 large egg
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
¾ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup Christmas sprinkles
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare baking pans.
In a large mixing bowl or a stand mixer, cream the butter, sugar, and brown sugar on medium speed. Add the vanilla and egg, beating on low until all mixed together. Add the flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar, and beat on low speed. Last add the sprinkles. Beat just until combined.
Use a cookie scoop to place on baking pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Allow to cool and enjoy!

This was the first thanksgiving in over 10 years that I was able to spend with family. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be able to do so.
But with that being said I am so thankful for my mom. The last 8 Thanksgivings that I worked retail my mom ALWAYS with out fail hosted an early Thanksgiving. Even though she did that I still always felt like I was missing out on the holiday until this year. After truly spending Thanksgiving day with family I realized that it doesn’t matter what day it is. Thanksgiving day or not, it’s all about spending it with Family, and that’s all that really matters.
Thank you to my mom for always making Thanksgiving special for me.
